In the early 1980s a vintage 1939 Brownie camera became both my favorite subject matter and a favored art tool. I created a series of shaped books based on paintings of the camera with photos and collages inside.

This work, along with enlarged double exposures, was exhibited in Books & Snapshots, at the Phoebe Conley Gallery at Fresno State University, Fresno, CA, in 1982.
