Signs of the Times - 2019 - 2020

This series of word paintings, featuring subjects from the political to the poetic to pure whimsy, are created to be in conversation with one another. Some voice things I have experienced while others ask questions that take on a different meaning for each viewer. My intention is to make art that will prompt reaction and a response; to spark a dialogue amongst you. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. There are more than 30 mixed media paintings, (9" x 12" or 11" x 14"), acrylic & spray paint on canvas board, some with added found objects.
